Mrs. Dera is a professional fashion designer, mother and actor who uses her charming performances to capture and entertain her audience while focusing on delivery quality and inspiring outputs. Her love for humanitarian services poised her to affiliate with TAAI in a quest to advocate for the socio-cultural inclusiveness of Persons With Albinism (PWA's) and the disabled community at large.

Barr. Ikenna M. Anyanwu

Volunteer - Legal Representative

Anyanwu Ikenna Macstanley (Esq) was called to Bar in 2017. He works with J. A. Nnodi & Co. as a Legal Officer. Barr. Ikenna is the Legal Adviser to The Albinism Foundation (TAF), Legal Adviser to the Union of Igbos Living With Disability, and a Lawyer on a missionary journey. His passion towards volunteering for TAAI is to ensure equal rights and privileges to PWA’s are obtained accordingly.

Dr. Benard O. Ukoha

Volunteer - Health and Medicals

Born of Eziudo Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA of Imo State Nigeria, Dr. Ukoha is a Consultant Physician / Gastroenterologist of New Owerri Mainland Specialist Hospital, Imo State, Nigeria. He has great passion in saving lives and making the society a better place for all to live. His voluntary and selfless service to the growth of The African Albinism Initiative (TAAI) is driven by his passion to preventing the medical complications associated with Person’s With Albinism (PWA’s).

Dr. Chigozie C. Ozurumba

Volunteer - Health and Medicals

Dr. Ozurumba (popularly known as Ozed) is a Public Health / Community Medicine resident in the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia and a member of the Association of Public Health Physicians of Nigeria. Passionate about inclusive growth and the advancement of health and human development indices in Nigeria and in the world at large, his work in the field of Public Health has led him to several communities and establishments in the Southeastern Nigeria. Dr. Ozed is a regular speaker and educator on health across several radio and television platforms, a regular contributor to news bulletins on health matters, and strong alia of TAAI with deep interest on issues concerning advancement of Persons With Albinism (PWA’s) in Nigeria.

Dr. Johnkennedy U. Mbaegbu

Volunteer - Optometrist

Dr. JK Mbaegbu (O.D, MNOA) is an Optometry graduate of Imo State University Owerri (IMSU) who has great passion for good health of humanity. He is also a farmer, business man, and a philanthropist with great political mindset. His is highly interested in helping people with albinism find a lasting solution to health related issues, especially on visual impediment as he uses his professional skills to achieve such level ground.

SOS Wayne Adighibenma

Volunteer - Strategic Advocacy

Born in Ojo, Lagos and hails from Imo State, Sos Wayne Adi.. is a diplomat with different degrees in Medicine, Education and Psychology. He is an avid traveler, mind hunter and preacher of the truest narrative of life. He is a vocal advocate for persons with albinism and an empathetic volunteer to the cause of humanity.

Pst. Victor Ibegbulem

Volunteer - Education and Sensitization

Currently the Chairman of the Albinism Association of Nigeria (AAN) Imo State branch, Pastor VictorGod (as he is popularly known) is a scientist, an educationist, a business man, and an expert on issues related to albinism and disability in general. He is one of the lead driving forces behind the inclusiveness of Persons With Albinism (PWA’s) in Nigeria.

Mr. Uche J. Abaraogu

Volunteer - Education and Sensitization

As a well-disciplined, enthusiastic, and passionate individual who has developed an attitude that enables him to make positive impact by assiduously going extra miles to help transform other less fortunate individuals, Abaraogu is a Development Knowledge Facilitator who serves mostly in rural communities where the effects of economic hardship are very evident. He is a Public Health Officer currently working with Environmental Health Officers Registration Council of Nigeria (EHORECON) as the State Liaison Officer for Abia State, Nigeria, a volunteer member of Yfam (Fresh and Young Brain Development Initiative), Rural African Health Initiative, Advocates Centre for Children and Youth, etc. His willingness and openness to learn and work in several sectors has developed his knowledge and confidence thereby giving him the inspiration to take up greater challenges and embarking on several activities including, the education of household members on sanitation and hygiene matters, which has prevented healthcare nuisances and also helped the enforcement of several environmental health laws and regulations in life. He bagged the award of the Best Corps Volunteer in Delta State award and the Nigeria on Millennium Development Goals in 2011 award from the Special Assistance on Presidency. He was selected as one of the 20 Naija Diamonds in a documentary program aired on African Independent Television and African Magic (Multimedia Television) and anchored by Moments with Moo with support from Diamond Bank. The documentary programme identified and celebrated unsung heroes who are making maximum impact in their respective fields in Nigeria. Abaraogu is up-scaling his efforts on a daily basis through his in-depth participation in several platforms and policy-making engagements. His passion for TAAI is visible in his service to the public and working tirelessly through volunteering in humanitarian efforts for the establishment of an NGO which would impact more lives and address the menaces facing the society.

Mr. Lazarus C. Nwankwo

Mr. Laz is the CEO of Atelis Technology and a native of Umuagbai-Ndoki in Rivers State is a Quantity Surveyor from the prestigious Federal University of Technology, Owerri. He is also a Programmer. He is driven by social and economic development most especially from the grassroots. He believes that no tribe, race or color should be dis-enfranchised of her humanity. He believes he can contribute to this initiative and give hope to every color, race and tribe.

Mr. Udebhulu O. Benjamin

Mr. Ben is a web developer and student currently living in Nigeria. Benjamin has a passion for coding and has been involved in various web development projects, honing his skills and expanding his knowledge. He is driven by a desire to create user-friendly and visually appealing websites that meet the needs of clients and users. When he's not coding, Benjamin enjoys exploring new technologies, reading, and spending time with friends and family. His passion towards volunteering for TAAI is to ensure equal rights and privileges to PWA’s are obtained accordingly.

Mr. Christopher Odogwu

Volunteer - Graphics Designer

Popularly known as Khypo, Mr. Christopher is a Political Science student of the University of Jos (UniJos). He has multiple skills ranging from printing and graphics designing to video editing. Khypo is an entertainer / musical artist whose songs are geared towards motivating, orienting, and educating people on albinism and the need to end discrimination and stigmatization.

Mr. Jude C. Igwe

Volunteer - Content Developer

Jude Chidozie Igwe has keen interest on youth’s inclusiveness, leadership training and public policy. At the planning stage of the “Emerging leader’s conference (ELC’2020) in Owerri, he was appointed as an influencer by DR. LINUS OKORIE, the President, Guardians of the Nations International. He equally served as an advocate for the “Global Schools program” in 2019. In 2020, he was amongst the Nigerian ambassadors for the “World literacy foundation”. He is a graduate assistant at Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria, and aspires to be a public policy consultant hence his partnership with TAAI. Jude is from Nigeria.

Mr. Chuks H. Okoroha

Volunteer - Content Developer

Widely acclaimed for his oratorical prowess, Chukwudi Harrison Okoroha is a firm believer in the ability of people everywhere to reach their fullest potentials and birth their best selves for the good of humanity. He is an avid reader, writer, book reviewer, and social commentator. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and works as an IT Support Engineer in a reputable organization in Nigeria. Chuks, as he is popularly called, is passionate about the welfare of Persons With Albinism (PWA) and is on a quest to broaden the scope of public enlightenment on their uniqueness, dispel myths and advocate their inclusiveness as part of his modest humanitarian efforts.

Mr. Franklyn is a christian, a wise dad and a loving husband, a Cloud Engineer and CEO of Dreamland Global Castle Limited. His first language is love, emphathy, compassion and care, a dear friend to the specially abled and diffrently abled humans.

Mr. Samuel O. Okerulu

Volunteer - Publicity and Media Strategy

Samuel is a practicing Axcountant and a native of Ogidi in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State and a graduate of Accountancy with first class degree honors from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. He is a team player, innovative, creative and leader per excellence whose interest is in Real Estate, Mentorship, supplying chain management, audit and assurance, financial reporting, human resource management, project appraisal and management. Nicknamed Whytediamond / Don Sammy, Mr. Okerulu has great passion for volunteering as he believes that “positive change is attainable only through pro-activeness” which has triggered his selfless services towards the growth and inclusiveness of Persons With Albinism (PWA’s).

Monicmary Mboma

Volunteer - Outreach, Women and Child Care

Monicmary Itoya Eniga is a young lady of an albinism disability status, an advocator for women and girls with disabilities and also a national humanitarian in the CEO foundation international, she is also the assistant state Co-ordinator to The Albino foundation (TAF) Imo state Chapter. Her keen devotion for molested women and girls led her to work with the Alliance for Africa. A volunteer humanitarian who's vision is to seek for the end of violation of women and girls especially those persons with disabilities.

Doris A. Ogueri

Volunteer - Outreach, Women and Child Care

Doris is an Admin Manager of Perofak Eye Clinic, She is also a Site Supervisor, Procurement Analysit, Virtual Assistant and serial entrepreneur (Event Planner, Makeup Artist, Hair Stylist, interior Decorator etc). She is a goal getter, ambitious and articulate human. She is a Public Speaker, an Activist and a Volunteer who has worked with many organizations and NGO. She has a B.sc in Quantity Survey from the Federal University of Technology Owerri. Doris is a powerful force in her environment and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Her leadership, communication and management skills are not to be compared with, at her free time, she loves surfing through the internet, reading, dancing, and mentoring. She is a lover of Christ who is inspired daily by her life story. Her favorite quote is "you really don't need to change the world, all you need is to change a soul at a time and the world will be a better place".
